Born in Borgosesia (VC) on 16 October 1967, she graduated in Law from the University of Pavia in 1991.

She has been a member of the Milan Bar Association since 1995 and is authorised to practice at the Italian Supreme Court of Cassation since 2007.

She mainly works in pharmaceutical and health law, cosmetic products, health supplements, and medical devices (life sciences).

She chairs the Supervisory Bodies of a number of pharmaceutical and medical companies under Legislative Decree 231/2001.

She also provides judicial and extra-judicial assistance and consultancy to companies and trade associations that mainly operate in the pharmaceutical, medical devices, health food products and cosmetics sectors.

She has collaborated with the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Pavia, giving lectures as part of the administrative law course on procedures for access to the pharmaceuticals market.

She holds lectures at conventions and congresses and provides instruction in pharmaceutical and medical law, also to medical workers for the purposes of ECM (ongoing education in medicine).

She has been a partner of Studio Legale Astolfi e Associati law firm of since 1995, serves as editor-in-chief of the legal journal "Rassegna di diritto farmaceutico e della salute", and has authored several publications, including the recent: International Comparative Legal Guides “Legal impact analysis: strategic and sustainable management in Drug and Medical Device Litigation.
